In this class, you are not only crime scene investigators—you are also language detectives! As you read the case, pay close attention to the verbs. The activities will help you discover how the Past Continuous Tense is formed and when it is used. Look for patterns and work out the grammar rule by yourselves. Good luck!

    • In this class, we will continue practising the Simple Past and Past Continuous. We will also introduce two important words that help us connect actions in the past: "when" and "while". Pay attention to how these words are used and think about the difference between actions that were in progress and actions that happened suddenly or interrupted another action. Important: in this class, skip exercises 1c, 1d, 3, 4, 5b, and 5c.
